Shipping policy
SHIPPING AND DELIVERY
Delivery of products will be made by courier “POSTE ITALIANE, UPS, TNT GLS, DHL” and times will vary depending on when the order is placed and the payment method chosen.
The system will send the Customer an e-mail notification once the shipment has been made.
STANDARD OR EXPRESS SHIPPING - ITALY
Throughout the Italian national territory it will be possible to choose between two types of shipping:
- Standard Shipping at a cost of €7.00 (free for orders over €99.00).
- Express shipping at a cost of €12.00 (reduced to €5.00 for orders over €99.00).
DELIVERY TIMES - ITALY
Barring unforeseen circumstances, delivery within the national territory will take place:
- within 3-5 working days for Standard shipments
- within 1-2 working days for Express shipments
However, this deadline could also vary considerably for locations that are difficult to reach, such as mountainous areas, islands, extreme suburbs.
SHIPMENTS OUTSIDE ITALY
Different shipping rates between Standard or Express will be offered for all shipments outside the Italian national territory depending on the relevant country.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Upon receipt of the Products, the Customer must verify that the package is perfectly closed and intact.
If the package is not intact or damaged, the Customer must immediately report the complaints to the courier and send an email to the address provided; otherwise, the Products will be considered regularly delivered.
With the exception of the period of sales and promotional offers reserved for customers, all orders placed on www.privatoeco.com, by noon, Monday through Friday (excluding holidays), will be prepared and shipped the same day, unless prior notice.
Any delays in delivery of less than 30 (thirty) days shall not entitle the Customer to refuse delivery of the Products, or to claim compensation or damages of any kind.
Shipping charges include packing and shipping costs. Packaging costs are fixed, while shipping costs vary based on the total weight of the shipment. We recommend that you group your items into one order. We cannot group two separate orders placed separately, and shipping charges will be applied to each.
If, upon delivery, the external appearance of the package has imperfections, the Customer must proceed to open the package in the presence of the courier. It is advisable to check the goods at the time of delivery and verify that the quantity of products delivered corresponds to what was ordered, that the packaging is intact, undamaged or otherwise altered.
LOSS AND NON-DELIVERY
Any delivery problems or anomalies should be promptly reported to our Customer Service Department.
For loss of a package and consequent non-delivery, the customer and the seller must respectively send a report to the carrier of reference and open an appropriate file aimed at finding the lost package.
Private is not responsible for the goods once entrusted to the courier but is committed to offer total assistance to the customer at its discretion.
